Remove Characters from Text Online
Enter the characters you want removed, then paste your text. Every occurrence is stripped out live. Useful for stripping stray punctuation, removing technical symbols, or normalising text before processing.
How it works
Each character entered in the "Characters to remove" field is treated individually and removed from the main text. For example, entering @#$ removes all @, #, and $ characters from your text.
Options
- Case-sensitive — When on, only exact-case matches are removed. Turning it off removes both upper and lowercase variants.
- Remove whole words only — Uses word boundaries so that single characters only match when surrounded by non-word characters.
